We’re hiring: Creative QA

This individual is responsible for the final sign-off of all creative work. They have an exceptional eye for detail and should ensure accuracy at various stages of the creative process against the requirements of the brief and against the client CI, design and copy. They will provide clear and concise feedback to the relevant team members.



Roles and responsibilities



• Check all copy for grammatical errors and any typos, including factual and language errors, currency, brand style and tonality, inconsistencies, disclaimers, and spacing
• Develop, maintain and evolve brand identity image
• Ensure copy adheres to the requirements of the various media platforms
• Check that copy and tone follows the brand CI
• Trim copy, suggest alternate captions and ensure copy is ‘reader-friendly’




• Check all copy in designs
• Check creative layout against design standards, principles and the client CI.




• Experience in copy editing or proofreading
• Understand design standards and practices
• Understand communication and advertising principles
• Understand web, mobile and print design standards and practices
• Experience working with various digital and print platforms
• Good internet and technology skills
• Good understanding of Responsive Web design
• Fundamental understanding of HTML
• Experience with mobile applications
• Experience with various email clients




• Matric
• Tertiary qualification (minimum 3 years)
• Courses in copyediting, English and proofreading
• ISTQB certification – Advantageous
